Halloween Night

Little Rudy Glasky comes home from trick or treating on Halloween night. This is actually only the beginning of the story I wanted to tell with this animation, but I think it still has plenty of Halloween spirit! This was entirely animated in Adobe Flash. I always start by sketching a couple specific shots I want (Like when Rudy takes off his pumpkin head) into a notebook. Then I go right into scribbling an animatic into Flash, then build the clean drawings on top of the scribbles. I've never used so much shadow in an animation before! It was tedious, but rewarding for the look!
