Tuition Information: Undergraduate residents $5,156, nonresidents $18,111 for the 2012 – 2013 school year. Tuition is slightly higher during the junior and senior years. Tuition does not include fees of $860 per year.

Scope of Program:
Students in The University of Utah's Graphic Design program must complete first year courses in 2D and 3D design, visual language and art history before applying to the major. Accepted students focus on drawing, visual communication, digital studio, typography, design process, graphic illustration, information graphics, advertising design, sustainable design practices, motion graphics, environmental design and graphic problems. All students complete an internship and create a portfolio.
Art, merit, leadership and need-based scholarships are available.
