Scope of Program:
Graphic Design and Interactive Design students at Maryville University complete core courses in design, drawing, world arts and ideas and digital media. Graphic Design students continue their studies with coursework in typography, visual thinking, graphic design history and photography. All students complete a senior seminar. B. F. A. candidates must also complete an internship and create a senior exhibition.
Interactive Design students focus on visual thinking, computer arts, web design, animation, digital video and audio, 3D modeling and typography. All students complete an internship and create a senior capstone project.
Merit and need-based scholarships are available; applicants for merit scholarship must submit a portfolio.
