What is Interactive Arts & Media?
Indiana University Bloomington says students pursuing a degree in interactive arts & media will explore the intersection of design, media, technology and the web. They will discover the world through code, data, research, design, and storytelling as they learn how to apply technology to the questions posed by journalists, provide a framework and distribution model for game designers and filmmakers, and produce an interactive presentation tool for graphic designers and media communicators
The coursework gives students a solid grasp of web and mobile technologies. Students will develop robust design skills, with an appreciation for the context involved in the creation of digital media storytelling. The goal is to generate products in which the technology and the message reinforce each other.
