Scope of Program:
Indiana University Northwest offers an interdepartmental major in Computer-Based Graphic Arts. Students take courses in art history, computer information systems, digital applications, graphic design, typography, layout, multimedia, art theory and web programming. As a capstone project, students create a senior exhibition.
Students in Indiana University Northwest's Informatics program concentrate on information representation, multimedia arts and technology, informatics infrastructure and coursework in the cognate area (a second discipline tied to applied computing, such as biology or fine arts.) Students must complete an internship, capstone project or thesis.
Merit and need-based scholarships are available. Indiana residents should consult with the Financial Aid Office for information about local and state scholarships.
