About Atlus
Altus was founded in 1991 as “Asuka.” Asuka was the American Branch of Altus Co., Ltd., which published high quality video games for the North American region.
Today, Altus publishes games for just about every major handheld system or video game console including PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, DS, PSP and PC. Altus has developed dozens of video games, but the company’s most notable franchises are Shin Megami Tense Series, Trauma Center, and Demon’s Souls. According to the company website, Altus Online was created to “provide online gamers and anime fans around the world with an entertainment and community destination like no other.
